Thermodynamic – Water heating system

Thermodynamic hot water is next generation technology for heating domestic water supply.

How Does it Work?

  1. The aluminium panel circulates refrigerant liquid where energy is absorbed from the ambient temperature.
  2. Rain, sleet or snow the liquid transforms into a gas, which carries to the Solar Box.
  3. The Solar Box compresses the gas, increasing the temperature.
  4. Simultaneously a water pump pulls cold water from the cylinder into the Solar Box and the compressed gas is used to heat the water.
  5. The spent gas reverts back to liquid and flows back to the panel, allowing the process to repeat.
  6. This flow continues until the water in the cylinder reaches 55°C.
  7. Once this is achieved the system goes into standby mode.
